How to Update Flight's Equipment Type

Users have the ability to modify the equipment type of an active flight. The app allows the users to modify a single or multiple flights depending on the user’s needs.

Step-by-step guide

a. Login to Merlot

b. Open AircraftFollow

c. Filter the date of the flight to be amended

d. Select the Flight

e. Look for the Equipment column (“Equip”)

f. Select the equipment type from the drop-down

g. Click “tab” on the keyboard or go to the next column

h. Click Save

To amend more than one flights, follow steps d to g before clicking Save.


Note: To ensure that the change has been properly saved, follow below instructions:

a.Select the flight

b.Click More Options in the Flight Information Window

c.Select History from the drop-down

For this change, the history should reflect the ActualEquipmentTypeId and EquipmentTypeId has been updated.
