How to reconcile flight log information in AircraftFollow

Users of AircraftFollow are alerted when its data does not match the records in Flight Log app. These record mismatches can be viewed in Flight Log Reconciliation screen on AircraftFollow. Errors in Flight Log Reconciliation could be caused by logs that do not match flight records on the database, or tech and cabin crew lists that do not matched the assigned crew list for the flight on the database.

Perform these tasks to reconcile flight log information in Aircraft Follow with Flight Log.

Create scenario using below steps

1. Select a flight that is not yet assigned to a rego but is already allocated to a tech crew (CPT,FO).

2. Log in to the Flight Log app as CPT or FO.

3. In My Flights, select the flight.

4. Enter OOOI and other required flight details like Instrument hours, Seat, and Role.

5. Approve and sign the flight log in the app.

6. In My Flights, the log will display a message that the flight has been submitted but flight reconciliation failed due to missing equipment.


Note

The system will not sync flight logs that does match with records in AircraftFollow. The flight log mismatch will also not be in AircraftFollow > Tools > Manage Flight Logs.

Reconcile flight log details in AircraftFollow.

1. In the menu options, click Tools > Flight Logs> Flight Log Reconciliation.

2. In this scenario, you can resolve the error by adding a rego to the flight log, and then clicking Reconcile. If successful, the affected flight is removed from the Flight Log Reconciliation form. 

3. Check the flight details in Grid. The flight details should already be updated.

4. Check the Flight Log in Tools > Flight Log > Manage Flight Logs. The flight log should already be listed in Manage Flight Logs.


The flight log will be updated in the Flight Log app after you click the sync icon.


Important

Ensure that UPMT FlightLogAppOpsEdits is set to True to allow AircraftFollow users to update flight log details in Flight Log Reconciliation screen.
