How to: Enable Edit/Delete Counters in Aircraft Portal

Customers have complained of not being able to edit/delete the counters / flight times in Aircraft Portal once entered by a user.

Currently the process is if a station user has updated the counter, then that station user alone can edit/delete the flight counter from the Aircraft Portal. Otherwise, it needs to be corrected from the Merlot App. The other option available is to allow unauthorised users to edit information so any station user can edit the details. By default it is configured to not allow unauthorised edits.

Step-by-step guide

The Edit/Delete button is enabled in either of the conditions. It doesn't depend on whether you're an admin user or non-admin. The fields are tightly coupled to the LoginId -

  1. if the user has added the value from the Portal i.e., Flight Times, Counters etc. (by clicking the New button).
  2. if the configuration of aircraft portal is set to TRUE then it will allow all non-authorised users to edit flight counters / times.
