Identify why a crew is not display in the Gen Dec report even though there is a flight assigned to the crew


Step-by-step guide

Before generating the GD report for a flight verify the following :

  1. Check if the crew has a valid ratings, department and roster period.
  2. If roster period is not there, check if there is a roster period definition for the corresponding rank and department of the crew
  3. You cannot add the rank if a roster period definition is already generated.
  4. Add a new roster period definition for the department and if required specify the Rank.
  5. Generate the Roster Period and wait for the CreateEmployeeRostersPeriodJob to execute
  6. Once the roster period is generated. Verify it by going to the Employee >> Schedule >> Rosters
  7. Generate the GenDec and the crew should now be visible
