CrewMobile - Duty Change Notification

Some duty change notifications are retained in CrewMobile until they are acknowledged. 

Duty Change Notification Process:

Before a duty change notification is received in CrewMobile, an empty Duty Changes section will be displayed. 

  

Once a change has been applied to a roster, the Duty Change notification will be displayed in the Duty Changes section.

  

If the duty change notification requires an acknowledgment, the user needs to acknowledge the change first. 

 

After clicking Acknowledge, a duty change notification will be displayed.

 

The duty change notification is retained until the application has been reloaded.

 

After reloading the application, the duty change notification is no longer in the Duty Changes section.

 

The Updated date and time indicator is displayed as a reminder that a recent duty change notification has been acknowledged.


The display of a Duty Change Notification in CrewMobile is controlled by UpdateCPDutyChangeJob, which takes place right after the acknowledgement of the duty change. The HoursBeforeDeleteDutyChange user preference when set to 0 will immediately delete the notification right after the acknowledgement. 


The mobile calls Webservice and updates the CPDutyChanges table only. The CP* job validates and updates the main Merlot tables.
